Here, we can follow two approaches :
Multiplying 4 by AA, we can have different A values as:
4×11=44
4×22=88
4×33=132
4×44=176
4×55=210
4×66=264
Therefore, we take
4×66=264
The value of A is 6.
Second approach is to write the given expression in expanded form :
4 x AA = 2A4
4 x (10A +A) = 200 + 10A +4
40A + 4A = 200 +10A +4
34A = 204
A = 6
