Question

Munnabhai had 4 crates, with 24 eggs in each crate costing Rs. 4.50 per egg. On his bicycle. while cycling to his shop with three crates he went over a big pothole. On reaching his shop he found that 33 eggs were broken. If he sold the remaining eggs at 6.00 per each, What loss per cent did he suffer?

Total CP=24×4×Rs.4.5=Rs.432
Remaining eggs =(4×24)33=63
Total SP=63×Rs.6=Rs.378
Loss %=432378432×100=12.5%.
