The Pancha Rathas is situated in Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu. Pancha Rathas means “five chariots”, and named individually after Draupadi and the Pandava brothers. It includes Draupadi Ratha, Dharmaraja Ratha, Bheema Ratha, Arjuna Ratha and Nakula-Sahadeva Ratha. The outer walls of the Rathas, especially of Arjuna, Bhima, and Dharmaraja, are decorated with niches and motifs. The five temples and other monuments have got it listed into the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
