Solution
Let the number of oranges with me be x
Number of oranges with my friend = 2x−3 number of oranges I havenumber of oranges my friend has=x2x−3=23 3×x=2×(2x−3) 3x=4x−6 x=6
So I have 6 oranges.
My friend has 2x−3=2×6−3=12−3=9 oranges.
