Let the number of apples with me be x
$\Rightarrow$ Now six more than 3 times the number of apples I have = $3\times x+6=3x+6$$\left[1Mark\right]$

$\Rightarrow$ $3x+6=36$
$3x=36-6=30$
Or $x=\frac{30}{3}=10$

Hence the number of apples I have = 10$\left[1Mark\right]$
