Solution

Evolution is defined as a gradual change observed in organisms and inheritance of the change in the respective individuals showing change in their future generations. This leads to a formation of new group with different features than previous resulting in the formation of a new species. But, there may be certain members of the original species who retain their characters and pass on the same genetic information in their future generations. Therefore, if we have evolved from chimpanzees or primates, then it would have been from a certain isolated group of primates that adapted in a different manner to evolve as humans. While the rest remained in their original shape and form living in harmony with their surrounding,
Had it been every single individual or group of organisms evolved at the same pace in the same manner, then we would have only the most advanced organisms inhabiting the planet and no diversity as all would change for the best and no primitive species shall be alive. But, this is not the scenario. Only a certain group of organisms evolve into new species who have the respective genes and are selected by nature or who adapt themselves for their survival.
