Given that
Δmm×100=3% and Δll×100=2%
From formula,
for the volume of cube (V)=l3 and
density (ρ) = mass (m)volume (V)=ml3
For maximum % error in density measurement,
Δρρ=Δmm+3Δll
Δρρ×100=(Δmm+3Δll)×100
=3+(3×2)=9%
So % error in density = 3 + 3(2) = 9%.
Hence, option (d) is the correct answer.
