Question

Write the simplest equivalent form of 96?

Open in App
Solution

Lowest form of any fraction will be an equivalent fraction in which the numerator and the denominator have no common factor except 1.
To convert given fraction to its lowest form, we divide both the numerator and the denominator with the common factor of both the numbers.

Here, 3 is the common factor of both 9 and 6, so let us divide numerator and denominator by 3.

9÷36÷3=32

Now, 32 is in the simplest form as numerator and denominator have no common factor except 1.
