Solution

By newton’s law of cooling (with approximation),

ΔTΔt=k(TavgTs)

For 1st 5 minutes,

10 C5 min=k(70 C25 C)

k=245 min1

Let the temperature of the body at the end of next 5 minutes be T C.

T655 min=k(T+65225)=(245)(T+152)

9(T65)=(T+15)

10T=570

T=57 C

Correct answer: 57
