Two metallic objects A and B are brought into contact but there is no heat transfer between them. What could be the possible reason for this?

If the two bodies in contact have the same temperature then there is no heat transfer between them. This means that A and B are at the same temperature. At molecular level, the average kinetic energy of the molecules of the two objects is the same.
