Solve the following equation :
(i) $\frac{3p}{4}=6$
(ii) $2q-6=0$

(i) $\frac{3p}{4}=6\Rightarrow \frac{3p}{4}\times 4=6\times 4$ [Multiplying both sides by 4]
$\Rightarrow 3p=24$ $\Rightarrow \frac{3p}{3}=\frac{24}{3}$ [Dividing both sides by 3]
$\Rightarrow p=8$

(ii) $2q-6=0$
$\Rightarrow 2q-6+6=0+6$ [Adding 6 from both sides ]
$\Rightarrow 2q=6\Rightarrow \frac{2q}{2}=\frac{6}{2}$ [Dividing both sides by 2]
$\Rightarrow q=3$
