Compound which gives Br+ and becomes a stable carbocation will produce a precipitate of AgBr with AgNO3.

Aryl cation are unstable so (a) and (b) does not give precipitate with AgNO3.
Also compound (c) gives less stable secondary carbocation so it also does not give precipitate with AgNO3.
As it can produce aromatic cation so will produce precipitate with AgNO3.
