Tina baked 3 ...

Solution
Totally number of cookies baked = 20 + 20 + 20
= 3 × 20 = 60
Number of cookies in each box = total number of cookies ÷ Number of boxes
= 60 ÷ 4 = 15 cookies in each box
Cost of each box = Cookies in a box x Cost of one cookie
= 15 x ₹12
Using box method of multiplication
15 x ₹12 = 100 + 50 + 20 + 10 = ₹180
Thus, the cost of each box of cookies = ₹180
