The correct option is A 395 Ω.

Current flowing through the circuit (I) is given by,

I=(4R+5) A

Resistance of length 10 cm of wire
=5×100100=0.5 Ω

According to question,

5×103=(4R+5).(0.5)

4R+5=102 or R+5=400 Ω

R=395 Ω
