Solution

Molality of CaCl2 solution=0.05 m

ΔTb=iKb m=3×Kb×0.05=0.15 Kb

Moltality of CrCl3.xNH3=0.10 m

ΔTb=i Kb ×0.10; ΔTb=2ΔTb

i Kb×0.10=2×0.15 ×Kbi=3

Since, Co-ordination number of Cr is 6.

the complex is [Cr(NH3)5Cl)Cl2

x=5
