We know that if there are plates placed parallel to each other, then the charges on the outer most surface of the extreme plates are equal and of same nature whereas the charge on the surfaces facing to each other is equal in magnitude and opposite in nature.

Thus the charge on the right of the rightmost plate is equal to that on the left of leftmost plate i.e. $q$.
