Namdev sowed jowar in 19,500 sqm of his total land of 3 hectares. In what percentage of his land did he sow jowar?

Total land area = 3 hectares
1 hectare = 10,000 m2
∴ Total land area = (3 × 10,000) m2 = 30,000 m2
Area of the land in which Namdev sowed jowar = 19,500 m2
To find the percentage it is expressed as 1950030000
To find the percentage of the land he sowed, we will use the fraction with denominator 100
Now, we will divide the numerator and denominator by 300
1950030000=19500÷30030000÷300=65100 = 65 %

Thus, Namdev sowed jowar in 65% of the land.
