a zoospore is a motile asexual spore that uses a flagellum for locomotion. it is also called a swarm spore ,these spores are created by some algae , bacteria and fungi to propagate themselves .

these reproductive units are thus called because it reproduce by another way than the union of male and female gametes , by other parts of an organism.
