Solution
Excretion:
The process of removal of waste material from our body is called excretion.
The organs which are associated with the excretion are called excretory organs.
The main excretory organ of human body is a pair of kidneys.
There are some accessory excretory organs present in our body namely lungs, liver and skin.
Kidney:
Kidneys are reddish-brown and bean-shaped structures present on either side of vertebral column.
Kidneys are concerned with the removal of nitrogenous wastes like urea from the blood.
Skin:
Skin can eliminate excess water and salts in the form of sweat.
Sweat is secreted by the sweat glands.
Lungs:
Lungs are the principal respiratory organ of humans.
Lungs can remove a large amount of carbon dioxide from the body.
