Water-born diseases: any illnesses that are caused by drinking contaminated water by human beings or animals that contains pathogenic microorganisms, oil, agricultural waste, domestic sewage, and industrial sewage.
Examples
Cholera: it is a bacterial disease causing severe diarrhea and dehydration, that is usually spread through contaminated water.
Typhoid: Typhoid is caused by the bacteria Salmonella Typhi. By drinking contaminated water or eating food washed in contaminated water one can develop typhoid fever.
