Following are the three types of salivary gland, these glands occur in pair and one of the each pair is placed on the either sides of the buccal cavity.
Parotid gland - largest salivary glands present in front of the ear.
Sub-mandibular gland - present below the mandible or the lower jaw.
Sublingual gland - present below the lingua or the tongue.
