Solution

The four main water sources of water are:

Ocean and seas

  • These are the largest source of water on the earth however, the water is saline because it contains a huge amount of salt
  • Hence this water is not able to use in the home industry or agriculture.

Rain

  • Most of the agricultural sectors in India depend on rainwater even some irrigation is done through river water which ultimately depends on rainwater.
  • The water from the sea and surface evaporates and forms water vapor which then moves upward with warm air
  • At high altitude, air cool the water vapor and small droplets which come on the earth's surface as rain.

Springs and well

  • Part of rainwater seeps through the soil and collects over nonporous rocks called groundwater
  • These groundwater take out by digging wells and also pumped out by bore well by using water pumps
  • Water from springs and wells may contain some microorganisms so it should be clean before use

River

  • The river is originated from the mountains
  • Rainwater freeze in the form of ice at the glacier these glaciers melt down water flows through the river go back to the ocean.
  • The river also gets contaminated by industrial pollutants
