The major excretory products produced in the body are carbon dioxide, excess water, nitrogenous compounds like ammonia, urea, uric acid and drug metabolites.
Carbon dioxide produced in the body is excreted through respiration from lungs.
Excess water, nitrogenous wastes are excreted in minute amounts through sweat and in major amounts in urine.
Drug metabolites are excreted through bile, urine and feces. Volatile drugs are excreted by expiration.
