Frogs:

  1. Those animals which have adapted themselves to live on water and land both are known as amphibians. The life spends in each habitat is necessary for the completion of the living organism's life. Example: frog.
  2. Frogs have protruding eyes, lack a tail, and strong, webbed back feet that are adapted for leaping and swimming.
  3. The skin is smooth with numerous mucus glands and thus resulting in moist skin.
  4. Many are of aquatic origin, but some live on land, in burrows, or in trees.

Adaptation of frog to live in water:

  1. Frogs are found in the pond habitat but can stay on the land also.
  2. The webbed back feet of frogs help them to swim in the water and thus adapted to live life in water.

Adaptation of frog to live in land:

  1. The strong back legs are meant for jumping and catching their prey found on land.
  2. Thus, they have adapted to become good predators to survive on land.
