The ciliated epithelium is the columnar epithelium that has cilia.
Found in the trachea, bronchi of the lungs, parts of the nasal cavities, the uterus and oviduct of the female, and the vas deferens and epididymis of the male.
It is in charge of conveying particles or fluid over the epithelial surface in structures such as the trachea, bronchial tubes, and nasal cavities.
It's most commonly found near mucus-secreting goblet cells.
