Duralumin is an alloy of Aluminium (Al) (95%), Copper (Cu) (4%), Magnesium (Mg) (0.5%)and Manganese (Mn) (0.5%).
It is used for the manufacture of aircraft, pressure cookers and sea ships.
It has very good strength but it is very light.
It is hard, highly ductile and corrosion-resistant.
Therefore, Duralumin is used for making aircraft and kitchenware
