Enzymes: Enzymes are a specialized kind of protein which is meant for catalyzing a specific type of chemical reactions by breaking down molecules into smaller pieces. This action of enzymes decreases the activation energy required for the reaction significantly, thus increasing the rate of the reaction. Almost every reaction taking place in the living cell are catalyzed with the help of enzymes.
Antibodies: Also known as immunoglobins, these proteins are produced by the lymphocytes and helps in improving the immune system. Antibodies bind to pathogens and other foreign particles, thus preventing them from entering and damaging the cells. They also activate the complement system by punching holes in the cell wall in order to destroy the cell wall using a process known as lysis
