1. There are three states of matter namely solids, liquids and gas.
2. In solids, the particles are tightly packed together. In liquids, the particles have little more movement, while in gases, they are a little bit spread out.
3. Gas vibrates and moves freely at high speeds. Liquids vibrate, move about, and slide past each other. Solids vibrate but generally do not move from place to place.

1. Quantum mechanics is the branch of science that deals with the behaviour and character of matter and energy interaction with the atoms of matter.
2. The four quantum numbers are related to the structure of atoms and in mathematical form.
3. These numbers show the electronic distribution inside the structure of an atom.
4. These numbers give very useful information about the size of the orbit, distribution of electrons, magnetic property, orbital size, shape, and orientation in space.
