1. Golgi Apparatus is concerned with the secretion of enzymes. It links the carbohydrates with proteins to form glycoproteins.
2. Plastids, in particular, the Chloroplasts are responsible to trap solar energy for the process of photosynthesis as they contain the green pigment – chlorophyll.
3. Ribosomes are responsible for the synthesis of proteins. They are also attached to the endoplasmic reticulum forming the rough ER.
4. Lysosomes are responsible for intracellular digestion. They have various hydrolytic enzymes which help in digestion.
5. ATP synthesis is mainly done by the Mitochondria. It is also known as the powerhouse of the cell.
