Solution
Enzymes:
Enzymes are polypeptides.
They are composed primarily of proteins, which are polymers of amino acids.
Chemically, peptide linkage is an amide formed between the -COOH group and -NH2 group.
When the number of amino acids is more than ten, then the products are called polypeptides.
The amide linkage(-CO-NH-) developed between two molecules of alpha-amino acid, with the loss of water molecules in a polypeptide is called peptide linkage.
