The 1920 Congress Session of Calcutta ratified Gandhiji's call for noncooperation movement. Four methods adopted by satyagrahis to make the non cooperation movement more successful were
1. Boycott of English manufactured products like clothes.
2. Strikes and closure of factories and offices.
3. Withdrawal of Indians from the police, military and judicial services of the British government.
4. Boycott of public transportation.
