Hypermetropia is the defect.

Hypermetropia or long sightedness : It is the defect of human eye in which a person can see clearly objects at large distances from it. but cannot see nearby objects clearly.

Correction : It is corrected by using spectacles having convex lens, which converges and shifts the image to retina from beyond.
