Solution
Transpiration is the loss of water from the plants in the form of water vapors.
Stomatal transpiration, lenticular transpiration, and cuticular transpiration are the three types of transpiration.
1. Stomatal transpiration:
It takes place through stomata which are present under the surface of the leaves.
2. Lenticular transpiration:
Lenticels also carry out the process of transpiration and are present on the woody stems. This type of transpiration is called lenticular transpiration.
3. Cuticular transpiration:
It occurs through the cuticle of the plant which is the waxy coating on the epidermis of the plant.
