Name the duct which carries the sperms from epididymis to urethra.

Sperm:

  1. Sperms are haploid male gametes that are formed in the seminiferous tubule of the testes.
  2. These are formed due to the division of the male germ cells.
  3. Sperms enter the rete testes, the epididymis, and vas deferens from entering the ejaculatory duct and then into the urethra.

Epididymis:

  1. The epididymis is a mass of long narrow, coiled tubules located along the inner side of each testis.
  2. It stores the sperms and secretes fluid for the nourishment of the sperms.

Vas deferens:

  1. Vas deferens emerge from the last part of epididymis on each side and leave the scrotal sac.
  2. It enters the abdominal cavity through the inguinal canal.
  3. Therefore, the vas deferens is the duct that carries sperms from the epididymis to the urethra.
