Plants produce the two gaseous waste products i.e, oxygen during photosynthesis and carbon dioxide during respiration. In addition to the gaseous waste products plants also eliminate various other waste products.

Excess water present in the plant body is eliminated by the process of transpiration. Gums, latex, resins, etc. are some other waste products stored in plant parts.
