Solution
Vena cava:
The vena cava is a major vein that receives deoxygenated blood from the body tissues and pours it into the right atrium of the heart.
It consists of two veins i.e. the superior and inferior vena cava.
The superior vena cava receives deoxygenated blood from the upper body parts like the chest, neck, and head and the inferior vena cava receives deoxygenated blood from the lower body parts like the legs, abdomen, and pelvis.
