An acid which dissociates in aqueous solution giving low concentration of H+ ion.

Acid, on dissolving in aqua solution give protons, i.e., H+ ions. Depending upon the concentration of H+ ions released, they are classified as
1) Strong Acids - High concentration of H+ ions
2) Wear Acids - Low concentration of H+ ions
Examples of weak acids are H2CO3 and CH3COOH
