Solution

Malpighian body:

  1. The malpighian body is found in the kidney's cortex.
  2. Bowman's capsule and glomerulus are the two pieces that make it up.

Branch of renal artery:

  1. The glomerulus is a tuft of capillaries created by the afferent arteriole, which is the branch of the renal artery entering the Bowman's capsule.
  2. Bowman's capsule is a single-celled, thick-walled, cup-like structure.
  3. Large solutes are filtered out of the circulation by the Malpighian body, while small solutes are sent to the renal tubule for modification.

Afferent arteriole:

  1. Arterioles branch off from the renal artery and enter Bowman's capsule, supplying blood to the glomerulus, called Afferent arteriole.
  2. The afferent arteriole splits into multiple capillaries, generating the glomerulus, a knot-like mass that fits snugly inside the Bowman's capsule.
