Choroid layer:

  1. Choroid layer forms the middle layer of the eye ball
  2. It is a vascular part of the eye containing numerous blood vessels providing nutrients and oxygen to the eye.
  3. It contains black pigments which absorb light.
  4. It also prevents the reflection of light once it had entered inside the eye which helps in formation of clearer and sharper image.
