The habitat that has water in its surrounding in which the organisms live is called aquatic habitat. There are three kinds of aquatic habitat- freshwater, marine and coastal.
Freshwater habitat comprises of rivers, lakes, streams, ponds, etc. Marine habitat comprises of oceans and seas. Coastal habitats are the regions where land meets sea. Fishes are found in freshwater and marine habitats including ponds, lakes, sea, oceans, etc.
