Adrenaline
Adrenaline, also known as epinephrine is a stress hormone secreted by the medulla part of the adrenal glands during the stress.
It prepares the body for fight-or-flight response during acute stress conditions or emergencies.
It increases the heartbeat, cardiac output, blood pressure, rate of respiration, etc in response to a stressful, exciting, dangerous, or threatening situation.
When our body responds to stress, adrenaline is made and released quickly which gives us an adrenaline rush.
Thus, adrenaline is the hormone which prepares the body during an emergency.
