Solution

Adrenaline

  1. Adrenaline, also known as epinephrine is a stress hormone secreted by the medulla part of the adrenal glands during the stress.
  2. It prepares the body for fight-or-flight response during acute stress conditions or emergencies.
  3. It increases the heartbeat, cardiac output, blood pressure, rate of respiration, etc in response to a stressful, exciting, dangerous, or threatening situation.
  4. When our body responds to stress, adrenaline is made and released quickly which gives us an adrenaline rush.
