The activites of testes and ovaries are controlled by the gonadotropic hormones, that indude the follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinzing hormone (LH), and prolactin.
FSH stimulates the formation of eggs in females and sperm in males.
LH stimulates the formation of corpus luteum to prouduce progesterone in females and stimulates the testes to produce testosterone in males.
