Solution

Hormones secreted by different glands:

In a frightened person:

  1. During times of stress, the adrenal gland secretes adrenaline.
  2. It assists us in facing the circumstance or fleeing from it.
  3. Anger, fear, grief, tension, and other emotions secrete it.

Growth of a child to an adult:

  1. The pituitary gland secretes growth hormone, which controls the growth of our body's tissues and bones.

Development of caterpillar to moth:

  1. The metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a moth is regulated by insect hormones.
  2. The larvae go through several phases before forming a moth.

Development of tadpole to frog:

  1. The thyroid gland produces thyroxine, which regulates the transformation of a tadpole into an adult frog.
  2. Metamorphosis is the term for this transformation.
