Solution

Glomerulus:-

  1. It is a tuft of capillaries located in the cup-shaped cavity of Bowman's capsule.
  2. It receives blood from the renal artery through afferent arteriole which carries excretory wastes from the body to the kidney.
  3. Blood leaves the glomerulus through efferent arteriole. The lumen of the latter is narrower than the afferent arteriole.
  4. It is involved in the ultrafiltration of blood.
