Dear Student, Rete testis, vasa efferentia, epididymes and vas deferentia are called male sex accessory ducts. The seminiferous tubules are closed at one end but on the other side that join to a network the rete testis from where fine ciliated ductules, the vasa efferentia arise. The epididymes is a mass of long narrow closely coiled tubule which lies along the inner side of each testis. The epididymes stores the sperm and also secretes a fluid which is considered to nourish the sperms. A vasa deferens emerges from the cauda epididymes on each side and leaves the scrotal sac and enters the abdominal cavity through the inguinal canal. The vas deferens loops over the urinary bladder where it is joined by a duct from seminal vesicles to form ejaculatory ducts. Vasa deferentia carry sperms. Regards
