Solution

Step 1: Metals:

Metals are classified as shiny, lustrous, ductile substances which are good conductors of heat and electricity. For example Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), etc.

Step 2:

The first ten elements in the periodic table are Hydrogen (H), Helium (He), Lithium (Li), Beryllium (Be), Boron (B), Carbon(C), Nitrogen(N), Oxygen (O), Fluorine (F), and Neon (Ne).

Lithium (Li) and Beryllium (Be) are the only metals among the first ten elements in the modern periodic table.
