$1.$ Pyrolusite. Pyrolusite is a mineral consisting essentially of manganese dioxide $(M n O_{2})$ and is important
as an ore of manganese.
It is a black, amorphous appearing mineral, often with a granular, fibrous or columnar. structure,
sometimes forming reuniform crusts.
$2.$ Bauxite : Aluminium ore is called bauxite.The bauxite is purified to yield a white powder, aluminium oxide, from which aluminiumcan be extracted.
$3.$ Hematite : The metal extracted from hematite ore is iron.
Hematite ore contains iron (III) oxide $(F e_{2} O_{3}) .$ This iron oxide is extracted by heating it with aluminium.
