1.Calcium and phosphorus- They play a vital role in maintenance and formation of teeth. Calcium is involved in making the jaw bones strong and hold the teeth in place but needs phosphorus for bone strength.

2. Iodine is required for the proper working of thyroid gland. There are two types of thyroid hormones - Thyroxin(T3) and Triiodothyronine (T4).

3. Iron plays a vital role in the synthesis of hemoglobin.
