Name the minority community that is relatively touch and powerful in Belgium? What was the effect of it on Belgium? Explain

a. The French speaking minority was relatively powerful and rich in Belgium.
b.The French speaking community were economically and educationally relatively better of than the Dutch speaking community who got such benefits much later.
c. This resulted in a civil war as both the French and Dutch tried to assert their will and domination.
d. Further, another cause of tension was that though the Dutch speaking community was majority in the country who tried to exercise its domination but they were rather in minority in the capital city of Brussels.
e. Thus, the Belgium Government provided for a separate government in Brussels with equal representation to both linguistic communities that is the French and dutch. Here the French speaking people has accepted equal representation because the Dutch-speaking community has accepted equal representation in the Central Government.
f. Also, it provided for state governments and Community government , ​elected by people belonging to one language community – Dutch, French and German-speaking. The Community governemnt decides on matters related to culture, education, language etc.
