  4. In asexual reproduction, one living organism generates offspring that are genetically identical to itself

Planaria:

  1. Asexual planarians reproduce by cutting themselves into two pieces through a process called binary fission.
  2. The resulting head and tail pieces regenerate within a week, forming two new worms.
  3. Regeneration is the type of asexual reproduction.

Hydra:

  1. Budding is the asexual reproduction method followed by Hydra.
  2. During this process, an outgrowth is formed known as a bud.
  3. It develops into an adult.
  4. It gets separated from the main body after it gets maturity.

Rhizopus:

  1. They reproduce by the formation of the spores, which is asexual reproduction.
  2. The body of the fungus consists of hyphae and it develops into sporangium.
  3. The sporangium is a swollen structure bearing the spores, located at the tip of the filaments.
